13th Annual Cancer Retreat

Meharry Medical College/Vanderbilt Ingram Cancer Center/Tennessee State University Cancer Partnership is sponsoring the: 13th Annual Cancer Retreat.

  • Admission is free and open to anyone interested in finding out the latest in cancer research locally and nationally.

Theme:  The Epidemiology and Psychology of Survival
This year's guest speaker is Leslie L. Robison, Ph.D., Chair, Department of Epidemiology and Cancer Control, Associate Director for Cancer Prevention and Control, Cancer Center Co-Leader and Cancer Prevention and Control Program with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. He will speak on the topic, "Long-term Outcomes Among Survivors of Childhood Cancer."
Registration will begin at 7 a.m. for those who do not register online.
A poster session will be open for all cancer-related projects from investigators and students. Posters cannot exceed 4' x 4'. Poster prizes will be awarded.
