division of Institutional Advancement
The Division of Institutional Advancement provides a "window" for others to view Meharry's mission, contributions, attributes, and goals. In short, the Division cultivates new relationships and strengthens existing relationships, inviting them to ultimately partake of the Meharry experience.
They accomplish this through the hard work and support of five departments:
- Communications and Marketing
- Development
- Donor Relations and Prospect Research
- Gift Management Services
- Corporate and Foundation Relations
Their efforts yield greater awareness of Meharry's mission, contributions, attributes, and goals; foster supportive relationships; and generate private gifts and grants. These departments also work closely with the Meharry National Alumni Association, Inc.
