Keydron K. Guinn, Ph.D.
Acting Executive Director
Dr. Keydron K. Guinn is acting executive director of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation
Center for Health Policy at Meharry Medical College. In addition to his administrative
function, he holds an assistant professorship in the graduate school. Dr. Guinn received
B.S. and M.A. degrees in criminal justice and sociology, respectively, from Jackson
State University in Jackson, Miss. Thereafter, he earned a Ph.D. in sociology where
he specialized in medical sociology from Wayne State University in Detroit. His research
interests include issues surrounding advance directives, more specifically, end-of-life
issues, rural health and social justice issues.
