School of Medicine

• Is the oldest and largest of the four schools
• Admits 80 medical students annually
• Provides residency training in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Occupational Medicine, Preventative Medicine and Psychiatry 

School of Dentistry

• Admits approximately 50 students per year

• Sponsors two post-doctoral programs: Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and General Practice Dentistry
• National Institutes of Health designation as 1 of 4 Regional Research Centers for Minority Oral Health

School of Graduate Studies and Research

• Awards Master of Science in Public Health degree

• Awards Ph.D. degree in the Biomedical sciences in the disciplines of Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacology, or Physiology
• Offers the M.D./Ph.D. degree jointly by School of Medicine and School of Graduate Studies
