Blackboard is an online course management system that allows instructors to post learning materials and increase communication with students via the Internet.  It provides 24/7 access to information anytime, from anyplace, and at any pace.

Login Information

• How to login - Meharry's URL is --> http://blackboard.mmc.edu
  " Your Bb username is the same as your login for e-mail
  " Your initial password is your username
  " If you have forgotten your password, ccontact the Blackboard Administrator at vmosley@mmc.edu or visit room 2003 in the WBS bldg

• Who has an account?
  " All MMC faculty and students have automatic access to Blackboard
  " Staff may request a Blackboard account by having their department head send e-mail to vmosley@mmc.edu

Blackboard Drop Box for Storage

You can add files to the drop box and retrieve them from any location for future use.  This is an effective means of saving files to use at home and school.  Avoid loss of data, inconsistency in various versions of the same file, unnecessary printing of files . by saving files to the drop box and using them at home or work for reference and reading.  Locate the DropBox under the Tools option in the left menu of Blackboard.  A drop box exists in each of your courses.
