Community Outreach
The Office of External Affairs works to advance the interest and support of the Meharry Medical College at all levels of government and in the community at large.
Our office works to make the college better known throughout our various communities by strengthening lines of communication and serving as the liaison between MMC and our many outside constituencies. Our discourse also enhances people’s awareness about Meharry and keeps the people of MMC abreast of local news, events and services.
Each year, faculty, students, and staff give more than 1,000 hours of community service across the state.
