| Most computers on campus will be able to play the CBT courses without difficulty. However, if you do experience problems, the information below will assist you in determining how to resolve or how to request assistance. In addition, the minimum computer hardware and software requirements are also listed below.
The most common problem with playing the CBT is your computer may not have Macromedia Shockwave player installed, or an older version of the player may need to be updated. If after selecting a CBT course you experience a blank window that may appear with a "Red X" in the upper corner, your computer does not have Shockwave player installed.
Click Here to automatically install a copy of Shockwave player. Following the completion of the player installation, close and reopen your browser, then attempt to view a CBT topic. If you still experience problems viewing the CBT or are not able to install the Shockwave player, contact the IT Help Desk at extension HELP (4357).
