Meharry has a campus-wide Ethernet that serves about 1200 users on a gigabit fiber-optic backbone network that connects all major buildings on campus. PCs are networked via more than 25 Windows NT and Windows 2000 servers. Meharry is connected to the Internet via multiple T-1 connections. In addition, the network may be accessed remotely through a Virtual Private Network (VPN) server. For information on remote access, contact the Meharry Help Desk at ext. 4357 (HELP).
