Application Process

Action cannot be taken until the following have been received:

  1. Application for Admission to the School of Graduate Studies and Research.
  2. Official transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate work.
  3. Official scores from the General Test of the Graduate Record Examination.
  4. Statement of Purpose: This statement must be submitted on the form provided and should discuss your preparation for graduate school and your reasons for pursuing a graduate degree.
  5. Two letters of recommendation on the forms provided and mailed by the references.
  6. GRE & Tofoel for International Students
  7. Non-refundable application fee of $45.00, money order or cashier's check, payable to Meharry Medical College.
  8. The College does not waive application fees, nor can fees be credited toward tuition if the applicant is accepted.
