Resources and Software:

• RNA QC/QA is performed using the Nanodrop 1000 Spectrophotometer and the Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer.
 
• Microarray experimental design and education and training for each of the facility services.  This training is provided by appointment, designated workshops and with clinics every Thursday at 12:00.  Microarray sample submission protocol and additional educational resources may be obtained from the MMBC Director, and by visiting the Vanderbilt Microarray Shared Resource (VMSR) website (www.vmsr.net), as all arrays are processed through the VMSR by way of a joint effort between the MMBC and VMSR. 
 
• Biorad Icycler IQ4 for Quantitative Real-Time PCR is used for Microarray validation.
 
• Gene Expression, Proteomics, Systems Biology analysis tools include:
  • MATLAB programming environment with bioinformatics, statistics and proteomics analysis suites.
