2008 Meharry Medical College Commencement Program
The Meharry Medical College 133rd Commencement Ceremony officially starts at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 17, 2008 in the TSU Gentry Center. The doors to the Auditorium will open at 8:30 a.m.
Recommended Arrival Times for Everyone Marching in the Processional
Everyone Planning to march in the processional should arrive at the Gentry Center by 8:30 a.m. School Marshals should report to the designated robbing rooms.

Parking
Access to reserved parking lots will be allowed only with the proper color Parking Permit.
Red Permits will be for degree candidates, family members and guest. This lot is located on the north side of the building. To reach this lot travel west on Jefferson Street, turn right at 28th Avenue N., and left at Dr. Walter S. Davis Blvd., and turn left at the large neon TSU sign. The Officers on duty will direct you to the proper lot.
Blue Permits will be for Board of Trustee members, Deans, Associate & Assistant Deans. This lot is located on the South side of the Building. To reach this lot travel west on Jefferson / John A. Merritt Blvd. Until you reach the officer on duty to receive directions. Permits will be available May 16th and issued by staff in the Dean’s offices per school and the President’s Office
Yellow Permits will be for Department Chairs, Faculty and Staff (marching in processional). This lot is located on the north side of the Building. To reach this parking lot travel west on Jefferson Street turn right at 28th Ave. near Mary Wilson Residence Hall and left at Dr. Walter S. Davis Blvd. Make another left turn at the TSU sign. The officer on duty will direct you to the proper lot. These permits will be available on May 14th, and issued by staff in the Dean’s Office per school. Faculty not marching in the processional may use the Red Permit lot or any unrestricted parking. |
