The Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry was founded in 1886 with an emphasis on service to the underserved. Throughout its illustrious history it has remained a nationally recognized resource for providing a strong curriculum in community oriented clinical dentistry and basic principles of research. Meharry graduates typically enter private practice, specialty or postgraduate programs and are well represented in academics in dental schools throughout the United States.
The school currently has four Support Deparments to insure a students successful matriculation through our program. The departments are Academic Affairs, Business Affairs, Clinical Affairs and Student Affairs. These departments provide a wide range of services, opportunities and support for the student.
