In order to accomplish our ambitious goals, Meharry selects a diverse body of students who have individually demonstrated commitment to service, possess appropriate cultural sensitivities, demonstrate an ability to successfully complete our rigorous curriculum, and have indicated a desire and willingness to serve underserved populations in the Meharry tradition.

Meharry produces a graduate that is recognized nationally and internationally as a leader in all aspects of dental care. Meharry is also among the leaders in providing dental educators for dental schools throughout the nation.
