Welcome!  I am so glad that you came to our website to get information about our Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) degree program.  We believe you can make no better choice than obtaining your public health graduate degree from Meharry Medical College because  with a MSPH from Meharry—The World is Yours.

The MSPH and the MPH are equivalent degrees.  We at Meharry are emphasizing the “S” in the MSPH because we want to emphasize the science knowledge learned from the competencies developed as students allowing them upon graduation to function as competent health professionals.  We expect our graduates to make their public health decisions on “evidence based” data.

We are very proud to be a part of Meharry Medical College that is accredited as an institution by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. We are particulary proud of our accreditation of our MSPH program by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). It is the offical accreditating body for all public health programs and Schools of Public Health in the United States.
