Ask a Librarian is the Meharry Medical College Library's electronic assistant for:

  • Database search strategy assistance and advice
  • Analysis of your search strategy, including expert searching tips to better your search retrieval and pointers to additional useful resources and databases

How do I use Ask A Librarian?

Fill out the form below and Ask a Librarian will respond with detailed advice to improve your search. The service is for Meharry faculty, students and staff and utilizes a triage approach to provide informative answers. Answers are delivered by email. Questions submitted here will be answered most quickly during regular business hours, Monday through Friday.

Ask a Librarian answers questions about database searching; if you have questions about library policies, access to electronic resources, or other issues, please use the Library Information Desk service.
