Family Medicine is a field that specializes in complete care of family medical problems. Our physicians manage a variety of hospitalized patients, and possess the training, expertise, and technology to take care of transferred patients as well. These physicians each fulfill faculty appointments in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at Meharry School of Medicine, and support a program of 18 residents training to become primary care family doctors.
