Veterans Affairs Community-Based Outpatient Care
On February 12, 2009, Meharry Medical College opened its second Veterans Affairs (VA) sharing clinic. The clinic is located on the first floor of the Meharry Clinic Building and is staffed in part by two members of the Family and Community Medicine faculty. In March 2009, Dr. Sabrina Finney, a 1996 alumnus joined the team and is enjoying providing care for those who have dedicated their lives to protecting our country. The clinic staff also includes two members of the Internal Medicine faculty, Drs. Jordan and Kelly, as well as three nurses and one clerk. The clinic has a state of the art electronic medical records system and an on-site lab. The clinic is open from 8:00am - 4:30 pm Monday-Friday.
