VA Community-Based Outpatient Clinic

On February 12, 2009, Meharry Medical College opened it's second VA sharing clinic.  The clinic is located on the first floor of the Meharry Clinic Building and is staffed in part by two members of the Family and Community Medicine faculty.  Nona Setler-Logan, M.D. a 1984 alumnus states that, "we treat the veterans here for everything-from Alzheimer's to vitiligo and everything in between".  Dr. Logan further adds that after years in private practice it is nice to utilize those skills in the VA system.  In March 2009, Dr. Sabrina Finney, a 1996 alumnus joined the team and is enjoying providing care for those who have dedicated their lives to protecting our country.  The clinic staff also includes two members of the Internal Medicine faculty, Drs. Jordan and Kelly as well as three nurses and one clerk.  The clinic has a state of the art electronic medical system and an on-site lab.  The clinic is open 8-4:30 pm Monday-Friday.
