Meharry Medical College thanks you for your interest in our residency programs. Meharry sponsors 86 medical residents in six accredited specialty programs and 10 dental residents in two dental programs. We are committed to providing quality graduate medical education through residency experiences in a major teaching hospital with diverse patient populations and outstanding faculty.
Individuals applying for any of our programs must hold a medical degree from an accredited medical school. If you hold a degree from an international medical school, a valid Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) is required. Each applicant must be a US citizen or be a permanent resident (green card). In addition to these requirements, each program has specific eligibility requirements that must be satisfied.
Most program applications are made through ERAS, but some will accept application directly.
