The Meharry MBCCOP is a newly funded three-year NIH/NCI project that will increase the numbers of minority patients who have access to cancer therapy and cancer prevention and control clinical trials. The Program will enable accrual of greater numbers of minority patients into cancer clinical trials by involving other primary care providers in Nashville and Davidson County as well as identifying the barriers to clinical trial accrual so we ultimately find ways to reduce the disparity.
