Project Summary

• Development of an injury information system for Nashville/Davidson county via the Metro Public Health Department, and develop training protocols for users to utilize the system (no surveillance system currently exists).
  
  
• Have initial support from health department, police department, public schools, justice information system, social services, and general hospital; Hope to obtain agreements from the state health department, emergency medical systems (EMS), hospitals, and trauma/rehab centers.

Information Small Project

• Conduct youth self-report surveys (N=2,500) from youth throughout Nashville (NYS) administered every other year (2005, 2007, 2009) through Oasis Center and Alignment Nashville.
