Upon completion of the basic sciences coursework, dental students begin their coursework and hands-on training in our clinical departments. Working in the clinics under the close supervision licensed dental health providers, students learn how to diagnose and manage disease through evidence-based methods that include interpreting data, conducting research, and devising new therapies in the following areas:
- Oral Diagnostic Sciences
- Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
- Pediatric Dentistry
- Dental Public Health
- Restorative Dentistry
- General Practice Residency
The common, proactive goal for each is the elimination of health disparities through the promotion of good dental health. Use the links to the left to learn more about each clinical department.
