Physiology is the study of the body and its functions at the level of organs and systems. The faulty mentors in this program study the cellular and molecular basis of cardiovascular pathophysiology, and other sub-disciplines such as neurophysiology, gastrointestinal physiology, reproduction and endocrinology. The goal of the research is to address the diseases of the body that disproportionately affect minorities.
