Medical Students Prepare for Student Research Day

Meharry Medical College is cultivating the next generation of researchers.

Every year since 1956, Meharry has sponsored an event known as Student Research Day where the contributions to scientific discoveries by students from all three schools—medical, dental, and graduate studies, are celebrated.

This year the event will be held March 13. Students work closely with their mentors in this preparation for the event.

Prizes are awarded in categories such as Medical Research, Advanced Ph.D. Research, MSPH Research, and First and Second Year Ph.D. Research. There is also a grand prize for best overall research.
