| Research Interests |
Extensive experience in academic family medicine including leadership positions in community medicine, research, and health information technology. His previous experience includes the Director of Research and Evaluation at White Memorial Medical Center in East LA and Director of Research and Telehealth for the Department of Family Medicine at Charles R. Drew University. In addition, Dr. Juarez has extensive experience as Principal Investigator/Project Director on many research, training, and service grants and has taught distance education courses at CA State University, Long Beach in the Master of Social Work program. In addition, he has established resident research programs in the Family Medicine programs at both Drew and White Memorial. Dr. Juarez will devote 25% of his time (15% funded by the grant) supervising, implementing community based research infrastructure component of the grant. |
