Breast Cancer Lecture Honors One of Meharry's Most Beloved

Williams Lecture at New Alumni Hall

Dr. Robin WilliamsOn Tuesday, October 22, Meharry Medical College celebrated the life and legacy of one of its most esteemed and significant educators with the inaugural Dr. Pamela C. Williams Breast Cancer Memorial Lecture.

The event was developed as a way to educate the Nashville community about breast cancer, its prevention and treatment. It was also founded in remembrance of Pamela C. Williams, M.D. ’81, professor, executive dean of the School of Medicine and caring physician, who was among Mehary's most admired and revered educators. Robin Williams, M.D., FACS, was the first lecturer in the series.
