The Meharry Medical College, Vanderbilt University and the Association of Black Cardiologists (ABC) Cardiology Fellowship Program consists of a jointly sponsored position by these three institutions. Each year these institutions sponsor one minority candidate in the Vanderbilt Cardiovascular fellowship program. Sponsorship began in the 2002/2003 academic year.
The fellowship program for the sponsored candidate is identical to the Vanderbilt University Medical Center Cardiology Fellowship. The 3 institutions jointly select candidates for the position.

Your application should include:
- Completed application form with passport-sized photograph attached.
- Personal statement about your career goals.
- Copy of your ECFMG certificate and green card (if applicable).
- Dean’s letter and transcript sent directly from your medical school to us.
- Three reference letters sent directly to us.
