Please contact your course coordinator to have them notify Kimberley Logan or Jeremiah Owolabi in Academic Computing to request that you to be added to the class as an instructor.

What happened to the digital dropbox? How do I have students submit an assignment to me online?

The digital dropbox has been phased out of Blackboard and replace by Assignments. For assistance on how to use this feature, please see our Creating Assignments reference sheet at http://www.mmc.edu/it/academiccomputing/documentation.html.

I created an assignment/test/survey/document in my course but I don’t see it? Where did it go?

If your assignment is not available until a future date, it will not show in your assignments page if you do not have Edit Mode on.  The same is also true of any content such as course documents, tests, and surveys which you create but do not make available until a future date. Enable Edit Mode and it should become visible.  If you still cannot see it, please contact Academic Computing for further assistance.

A student had a technical issue during an exam/survey/assignment and needs to resubmit. How do I reset their attempt(s)?

In the Grade Center, find the student’s name and follow it to the column for the exam/survey/assignment.  In the exam’s column click the drop down button next to the student’s attempt and select the View Grade Details option.

In the View Grade Details screen you can delete attempts using the dropdown box and clicking Go.  You can select to delete the last attempt, all attempts, lowest score attempt, highest score attempt, attempts between dates, and all attempts.   Please be very careful when exercising these options.  If you require any assistance, please contact Academic Computing.
