To request equipment or event assistance, you may submit a Media Services Request. To ensure that the equipment you need will be available, submit requests at least two business days in advance. If you need to have a technician, photographer, or camera operator present at your event, please give us two weeks advance notice.

Media Services strives to provide high-quality digital images of the people and programs at Meharry Medical College through our photography services. Our photographer handles requests from departments and organizations to photograph campus events, activities and functions as well as academic, research and classroom scenes. The staff also provides portraits of faculty members.
To request photographic services, please submit a Media Services Request.
We set-up sound boards, wired and wireless microphones, portable amplified podiums, Internet audio streaming and audio file conversion (MP3, WMA, WAV, RA, etc.)
We offer Media and Video Conferencing equipment quotations – Quotations for video conference equipment, plasma or LCD TV’s, projectors, video or photographic cameras, equipment installation.
Media Services can lend audio and video equipment for College related events at no charge. To make sure that we can meet your needs,, please make sure to submit your request at least two (2) working days prior to the date needed.
A/V equipment
Most classrooms, seminar rooms, and performanc spaces on campus now have built-in A/V capacity. For other locations and other types of uses, Media Services has a pool of equipment to lend. Let us know if you need any of the following:
- Projection/display equipment (portable video projector, document camera, projection stand, screen)
- Video production and photography equipment (camera, tripod, lighting and sound euipment)
- Media players (VCR, DVD, cassette players)
- Whenever possible, Media Services will deliver and pick up your equipment.
Our equipment lending service is for College-related use only; personal use of equipment is prohibited.
For Web media, we offer Internet video streaming.
