Please read the following carefully before applying for admission.
Years of College: All matriculating students must have successfully completed at least 96 semester hours/140 quarter hours. It is recommended that all matriculating students will have received a bachelor's degree from an accredited, four-year college or university prior to matriculation to the Meharry School of Dentistry. Online courses will not be accepted towards required prerequisites.
Pre-Dental Course Work with average of B- or better in each of the following:

Additional courses strongly recommended: Anatomy/Physiology, Microbiology, and Histology/Cell Biology. Other recommended courses include: Genetics, Molecular Biology, and Pharmacology.
Application deadline: December 15th
Supplemental Application: Upon completion of the AADSAS, applicants must fill out a supplemental application. At the time of completing the application online, a processing fee will be assessed and paid electronically. Please do not send a separate payment to Meharry. This supplemental application allows the applicant to further describe his/her activities. In the event you miss the link to the supplemental application, a confirmation of receipt of your AADSAS electronic application will be sent to you via email along with a link to the Dental Supplemental Application.
Letter of Recommendation: Three (3) letters of recommendation, due directly to AADSAS by December 15th. The address to which the letters should be mailed will appear on the AADSAS Letter Request Form. Those applicants who attend, or who have recently graduated from, an undergraduate institution or a post-baccalaureate pre-dental program which offers a Health Professions Advisor or Advisory Committee should submit a letter from this person or committee; this letter should be sent to AADSAS as described above. If no such institutional letter is available, the applicant should explain this on the Meharry Medical College supplemental application and substitute a minimum of three (3) individual letters, including two from Science professors. These letters should be sent to AADSAS as described above.
