AAMC - Careers in Medicine and Financial Information Resources, Services, and Tools (FIRST) Summer Internship
The AAMC is seeking a medical student intern to work with Careers in Medicine and Financial Information Resources, Services, and Tools (FIRST) staff on various projects related to the administrative, marketing, and communication efforts of both programs. The qualified individual will possess excellent communication skills, proficiency with social media platforms, experience working with Excel, Word, etc., and ideally, will have financial aid/financial literacy skills/knowledge. The American Academy of Periodontology Foundation is seeking applications for its Sunstar/AAP Foundation Research Fellowship program.
Underwritten by Sunstar, the $50,000 fellowship is intended to support specific periodontal research and supplement the fellow’s income; it is not intended to replace any salary or stipend to which the fellow would otherwise be entitled.
Full-time periodontal educators engaged in periodontal-related research at U.S. programs are eligible to apply. Applicants must be board-certified in periodontology and be members of the American Academy of Periodontology.

Unpaid Internship: The United Nations has no provision in its budget to pay interns. Therefore, all costs connected with internships must be borne by the students concerned or by their sponsoring institutions or governments.
The United Nations provides opportunities for students enrolled in a graduate programme
to undertake an internship at its Headquarters in New York, Geneva, Vienna, Nairobi,
Addis Ababa, Bangkok, Beirut, Santiago, Arusha and The Hague.
Eligible candidates interested in doing an internship at the United Nations Headquarters in New York or any of the mentioned countries can apply. The objective of the Internship Programme is threefold:
- To provide a framework by which graduate and under graduate students from diverse academic backgrounds may be assigned to United Nations Offices where their educational experience can be enhanced through practical work assignments.
- To expose them to the work of the United Nations.
- To provide UN offices with the assistance of highly qualified students specialized in various professional fields.
