IACUC Review Schedule

The figure below summarizes the IACUC review schedule. To trigger the review, you must complete a  Protocol Review Form and submit it electronically to the IACUC office at least two weeks before the first Tuesday of the month;  in addition, participants in your project who will have contact with animals must complete on-line training and register with Meharry’s Occupational Health Service.  When these steps have been completed your project will be reviewed by a veterinarian in the Animal Care Facility and then by the IACUC.  In most cases, a single IACUC member known as a Designated Reviewer will review your project.
