Joins CRC as Bioinformatician
Fatima Mncube-Barnes, Ed. M. has joined the Clinical Research Center as a Bioinformatician. Mrs. Mncube-Barnes who is an information technology expert and a specialist in data management; including data capture, tracking, cleaning, edits, and storage, will conduct strategic data analysis individually or with guidance from investigators or statisticians.
The role of the Bioinformatician at Clinical Research Center (CRC) is to provide leadership in research data management and information technology as well as to address emergent health concerns in underserved/underrepresented communities. Mrs. Mncube-Barnes became the Bioinformatician of the Meharry Medical College Clinical Research Center in December 2006.
