The Molecular Biology Core houses a number of shared items of research instrumentation (List of shared equipment). The core also maintains an Invitrogen Supply Center that stocks many routinely used reagents for molecular biological research. The core also facilitates through the Meharry/Vanderbilt Alliance the ordering of reagents and supplies from the Molecular Cell Biology Resource Core at Vanderbilt University.
