grantsmanship workshop Series
The Office for Grants Development offers a Grantsmanship Workshop Series for investigators
and trainees targeting an application deadline the following year. The plenary sessions
are followed by a series of peer group sessions that focus on sections of the application.
The workshop helps the investigator develop a timetable to ensure a draft application
is ready a minimum of one and one-half months before the application deadline. Draft
applications are then sent for expert anonymous pre-review.
Plenary sessions in the past have covered “Introduction to grant writing,” “Good practices in grantsmanship,” “Marketing your science in the context of funding opportunities,” “Electronic grants submission,” and more. Visit these pages often to learn about upcoming sessions.
