What is PRISE?
PRISE is a 6 month program for working women to become more active and make healthier food choices. The PRISE program will teach you ways to add fitness into your everyday life. PRISE includes:
Preps: giving you the tools that will help you to be more active and eat a more nutritious diet
Reps: providing you with a home-based weight training program with free weights and instruction
Increased Steps: teaching you how to use a pedometer (a small tool which counts the steps you take). This is an easy way to increase your everyday activity by walking more.
Encouragement: involving you in monthly training sessions with PRISE staff to help you stay on track with your physical activity goals.
