Lieutenant Darrell Pannell joined the Meharry Medical college DCSS team in January of 2007. He comes to us from a varied background. He spent 15 years in corrections and 5 years in loss prevention. Lieutenant Pannell has held many positions in his career, ranging from Chief of Security, to Training and Development Officer, to Manager.

Lieutenant Pannell received a Bachelor's of Science degree from Tennessee State University, and has future plans to obtain his Master's in Public Administration. Lieutenant Pannell is certified in Wicklander Investigations and Interrogations, Train the Trainer, and Crisis Intervention.
